Westfield Nursery

Westfield Nursery is open from 7.30 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Children should not arrive early or be collected late. 

We are open for 51 weeks of the year, closing for 1 week at Christmas and all statutory Bank Holidays, (which are to be paid for in full)

If someone unknown to the nursery is to collect your child we must be notified in advance. Children will not be allowed to be taken off the premises by any unauthorised person. 

Westfield Nursery reserves the right to contact parents / carers and request that their child is collected if it is considered that the child is too ill to be at nursery. Children with contagious illnesses must be excluded until symptoms have cleared.

Any medication will be recorded on the medication form by a member of staff and signed by the parent / carer. Any medication which has not been prescribed by a medical practitioner cannot be given to your child by a member of our staff. 

To ensure that every child feels happy and secure at Westfield Nursery, we encourage parents / carers to settle their child / ren in by bringing them to visit on at least 2 occasions prior to their start date. We feel that this will add to parents / carers relaxed confidence in their 

child’s well being.

One months notice is required when your child/ren is to leave, change sessions or reduce sessions at Westfield Nursery.
